Ibelieve that love and family are the bridge between safe places and new adventures and for me a wedding encompasses all of these elements.
Girl meets boy, they fall madly in love and plan a wedding. But not only a wedding day. They plan for a great new adventure, one that leaves behind the safety of what they call “home” to create a new home together.
A wedding day is so symbolic of this new chapter in their lives and its importance is never lost on me at one single wedding. Not only that, it is where I take my inspiration from for each wedding I photograph. Capturing all the love between families at a wedding celebration is at the heart of my vision for your wedding!

In 2016 I was honoured to be named Weddings Online Photographer of the Year and in 2015 I was named by Hotpress Magazine as “one to watch for 2015”. The success of Eden Photography has come through hard work and a passion for what I do. I love weddings and photographing couples in love – I am blessed to do what I do!
Over the years Eden Photography has captured some of the most beautiful weddings, meeting the most amazing couples along the way. I have worked with some of the best designers, planners and vendors in the industry and have graced the pages of Confetti, the Wedding Journal, the Irish Times, Weddings Online, One Fab Day and Before the Big Day.
Photography for me is a precious glimpse into a moment. I love that it can tell a story more beautifully than a thousand words, yet has enough mystery to leave you wanting more. I believe the moments captured through my lens should stand the test of time, and be loved for generations to come. The idea of a beautiful image framed in a special place in your home is at the heart of what I want to achieve for you. Perhaps this stems from my love of the past. I am a history buff (having completed a PhD in a former life!), who loves going back in time and being taken on a beautiful journey.
I appreciate the nostalgia in old things, taking long journeys in the car and eating outside with a glass of wine with great company.

I studied photography at St. Johns Central College and later had the pleasure of learning from wedding photographers who are amongst the most inspiring that I have met.
Somewhere between my photography training and completing a PhD in Politics I found wedding photography and have not looked back – I have been so lucky to have found what I was meant to do.
The road has not always been smooth and losing my mum in 2011 was heartbreaking in a way that words can not even describe. Returning to wedding photography I saw each and every wedding in a new light. I saw them as the ultimate celebration between family and friends where you gather together all of the people you love, squeeze them tight and declare before them all that you have found the person you want to share the rest of your life with. What can be more special than that? It has taught me to give back and I am lucky to be able to give a percentage of my profits to charity each year, to help other families that may not be as lucky.

Tanya listened to what we wanted
We wanted someone who was subtle and friendly. As a bride
It is important to feel comfortable around your photographer
My husband and I were a little nervous of the couple photographs
But I have to admit we felt so relaxed
and it was one of the more romantic & enjoyable parts of the day
I felt like Tanya was just one of the girls when I was getting ready
We had fun during the couples session with Tanya
And that was very important to us
