I remember meeting Steph and Matthew on a brief trip back to Ireland when they were planning their wedding. We chatted away so easily and I loved hearing their plans and I knew it would be great to photograph their wedding (it was an added bonus that Steph and Matthew were from Hull and my dad is a huge Hull supporter!).
They chose the stunning Clonabreany House as their Irish wedding venue. I had only photographed there in the Summer before but we had beautiful blue skies for their February wedding that you wouldnt know the difference. We didnt even feel the cold!
I love that Steph and Matthew’s wedding was all about family. Those families ties and bonds are what really makes a wedding day for me and Steph having Matthews three sisters as her bridesmaids was so special. Ciara, Matthews sister, even sang at the church ceremony and after the speeches Matthew sang for Steph an old Irish song and there wasnt a dry eye in the room.
Thank you Steph and Matthew for letting share in your day, I loved every minute of it there with you both and blog friends here are some images from the day, so that you can share in it also.
